Road Works

Closure of C293 Whatlington Road for Drainage works between Virgins Lane and Riccards Lane .  Monday 25th March and Tuesday 26th March  9.30a.m. - 3.00p.m.  If you require access speak to the team on site.

 

 

Closure of Whatlington Road A21 safety package: Silver Hill to John’s Cross – overnight closures for safety improvements

We’ll soon be starting safety improvements on the A21 between Silver Hill and John’s Cross. This will include new signs and lighting, and improved road markings.

Our work will start on the evening of Monday 5 February and take three months. We’ll be working weeknights between the hours of 8pm and 6am only, when there are fewer vehicles on the road.

Closure information (dates are inclusive)

  • Monday 11 March to Wednesday 27 March: the A21 will be closed between Silver Hill and Robertsbridge weeknights from 8pm to 6am.
  • Tuesday 2 April to Friday 3 May: the A21 will be closed between Robertsbridge and John’s Cross weeknights from 8pm to 6am.

During the closures a diversion will be place via the A268 and A28.
